2 H Helmick 19th American Pen Ink Drawing Afro American

This is a nice pair of pen & ink drawings on paper by Howard Helmick. The first one shows a image of a bear walking through the grass and is unsigned. The second piece shows an African American man in the woods crouched with a rifle probally hunting. This piece is signed in the lower right in ink "H. Helmick". According to the auction records in Davenports his artwork has sold for as much as $24,900US.

CONDITION:
In my opinion they are in very good condition, but please see photo to form your own opinion to it's condition.

SIZE:
The Bear image sizes measure 5 inches height and 6 inches width.
The Bear paper size measures 7 1/4 inches height and 6 7/8 inches width.

The Hunter image sizes measure 14 inches height and 13 3/4 inches width.
The Hunter paper size measures 14 7/8 inches height and 15 1/2 inches width.
